Dogs and Puppies today live within the household and there owners expect a level of behaviour that makes their dog, dogs or puppy a  stress free pet to be around.  Your Dog or puppy does not come with instructions, there for as their owner you need to  implement boundaries  and these boundaries start  in the form of basic obedience
Today you have seen and heard of all of the new dog training techniques so why is it that most owners find it hard to communicate with their dog or puppy and  say “training doesn’t work for me!”
Because they are over looking the simple natural method of the dog language which is pack law.

Once you start implementing pack rules obedience training is just a natural progression of human dog relationships
There are four simple commands that can be learnt these are

• Sit / Stay  - to sit quietly in the spot its owner has asked and not to move which also  includes the stay command  
• Down or Drop - move from the site and go into a lower position
• Heel -  To walk in a calm manner beside you
• Come  - To come when called (without hesitation)
  Always end your training class, lesson  or walking session on a good note.

One of K9 Train Smart Training Programs is the next step towards the proper control of your dog. In these  lessons,  more formal exercises are started (and finished !)

When training your dog we also  develop your correct handling skills and your attitude toward your dog, we teach the heel sit, stand and down exercise all on lead. We socialise your dog each lesson with the other members  as well as to noise and other distractions

Behavioural problems such as the dog jumping on people, digging holes, pulling clothes off the washing line will also be dealt with throughout the program.
Furthermore if your dog is timid, nervous or anxious, you will be advised and teach you how to deal with these problems.

NOTE: ALL dogs must be immunised  if travelling to us and handlers will NOT be permitted to interact in any training if intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
