Do I have to download any software?

No. The K9 WebSmart Program is an online service. You can login and access training from anywhere in the world.

What web browsers does K9 WebSMart support?

K9 WebSmart Courses currently supports Firefox 1.5+, Internet Explorer 5.5+, Safari on Mac 1.2+ with Javascript and Cookies enabled. We have also started testing the entire training system using Opera v9.32, while we don't officially support Opera yet it all seems to work very well so far!

Do I have to sign up to a long term contract?

No. All of the K9 WebSmart Courses have pricing plans that are based on a per course fee and you can cancel at anytime.

How do I pay for my K9 WebSmart Courses

K9 WebSmart Program uses Paypal subscriptions, Telephone Credit Card orders and Direct Deposit.

How do I cancel my K9 WebSmart service?

To cancel your K9 WebSmart Course simply send an email to support [at] K9centre.com. Your account will be cancelled once it has been processed by the K9 WebSmart Administration Team. Normally within 48 hours.

Do you provide phone support?

Yes. However it is limited to instructional requirements and will be specified upon application. We aim to acknowledge all support requests within 2 hours and resolve issues with 24 hours.

Are my training modules, user profiles, test results etc safe and secure?

Yes. While using the K9 WebSmart Program your protected by a 256bit SSL secure connection and our servers are located in a Class A Data Centre

I cant login?

If you have your password right and you cant login you most likely do not have Javascript and Cookies enabled in your browser. These are required by K9 WebSmart Programs to operate effectively.

Data Centre details

The state-of-the-art facility covers 15,000 square feet and provides 1.2 million square feet of office and Data Centre space to over 100 tenants.

Internet connection is provided by redundant Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) fiber optic uplinks to varied geographic locations. These connections operate on SONET technology and are provided by Verizon and Optimum Lightpath for maximum fault tolerance.

Connections are maintained to multiple Tier-1 providers: UUNET (Verizon/MCI), Sprint, Savvis, Verio, Global Crossing, InterNAP and NAC. These Internet uplinks are connected to the physical network by redundant Cisco Routers that in turn connect to Redundant Netscreen Firewalls, then the redundant network switching core. This entire network infrastructure runs on Gigabit Fiber.

The 15,000 square foot Data Centre is on raised flooring allowing easy access to electric and network cabling. Raised floors also provide a perfect distribution method for the cold air generated by a 20 ton Leibert Air Conditioning unit. Liebert UPS systems provide consistent and clean power as well as an interim backup in the event of street power failure. A secondary UPS is necessary for N+1 redundancy. In the rare event of a power failure, a 500KW Caterpillar generator is standing by.

Data Centre. access is monitored by secure access controls. All guests to the facility are escorted at all times during their visit.

Network and Data Cabinets are kept locked at all times. System data is backed up on an automated schedule to fault tolerant Network Access Storage (NAS) systems in the event of a system failure.

All production servers are provided by Dell - the gold standard when it comes to high performance rack mount and blade Data Centre. servers.

All servers run Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. The Windows Server offers the most flexible, secure and advanced product and is the fastest platform on which to host a website.

99.9% uptime with the most advances network infrastructure available on the market today. A combination of Cisco routers and switches, Juniper Networks firewalls, Gigabit fiber optic cabling and redundant Gigabit Internet connections ensure the maximum uptime
