Family Protection Dogs Trained to Protect

Whether you are looking for a dog to just alert your family, protect your family  you must make the right choice for you as a family. If you dont like a particluar dog dont have it as these dogs are a companion for up to 15 years

No matter what breed of dog and for what purpose your dog must be a loyal companion and fit into your lifestyle.
We have trained countless dogs for families and there are a few points to remember when looking at buying a dog or a puppy to eventually become a great protector.

  • The dog you intend to purchase must be healthy, bright eyes, nice weight, happy and outgoing.
( if you are not sure  what to look for always ask for a Vet Certificate. This will ensure the dog has been checked by a veterinarian and is in a healthy state.)
  • You must be able to handle your dog.  Your dog should not be scared of you or it surroundings.
  • You should be confident around your dog
  • Your dog must be obedient and responsive
  • Just because a dog has parents that where supposedly police dogs doesn’t not mean it will be suitable candidate as a protection dog.
  • If you are starting with  a puppy find a reputable breeder. This doesnt mean their dogs are the best in the show ring, this means their dogs are  healthy, outgoing  and love to intergrate with humans.

Our family protection dogs are carefully selected and tested. They are fully trained in obedience exercises.
They are protection trained  to watch the territory and family members. Our dogs are the perfect companion with guarding  insticts not aggressive uncontrollable animals.
The dogs that we choose for  Protection training  are very social and they are good companions and must intergrate within a family enviroment.  These dogs are easy to handle even if new owner is an non-experienced handler.

The difference between a family protection dog and a working security dog is the intensity of the dog training, different training scenarios which would include tracking and apprehension of  suspects. You could have these qualities in a family protection dog but the more training that is involved with a dog the higher the cost.
